Matthew Wood

Matthew Wood is a geoscientist and digital media producer with a PhD in tectonic geomorphology from the University of Melbourne. He held field-based project exploration geologist roles in Africa, South America and Papua New Guinea, and has co-authored journal articles in a range of disciplines, including geochemistry, seismotectonics, geoscience pedagogy and environmental engineering. His creative workflows include documentary filmmaking, non-linear digital video editing (including 360 and spatial video), 3D animation, photogrammetry and development of extended reality experiences using immersive computing.
