Linda Armbrecht

Dr Linda Armbrecht specialises in paleo-genomics techniques, and in particular, the analysis of ancient DNA from the seafloor (sedaDNA). This novel genetic approach allows her to track complex ecosystem changes over millions of years, knowledge that can be directly applied to predicting future changes and management of marine ecosystems, fisheries, and keystone species. Linda focuses on the Antarctic environment, where research into ecosystem resilience and sustainability is critical due to climate change.
