Joanna Mossop

Professor Joanna Mossop, Law Faculty, Victoria University of Wellington, specialises in the law of the sea. She has written extensively on a range of topics, including Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, protection of marine biodiversity, maritime security and dispute settlement. She is on a number of editorial boards and has consulted for the UNDP. The New Zealand government has nominated her as an arbitrator under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
