Barbara Stenni

Professor Barbara Stenni studies past climate reconstructions, at different time scales from centuries to hundreds of thousand years, by means of the determination of the isotopic composition of oxygen and hydrogen in ice core samples. Barbara integrates the paleoclimate results obtained from different natural archives (marine records, ice cores) with the help of climate model simulations. Her research also focuses on understanding climate proxies and post depositional processes for a better interpretation of paleoclimate results.
