Andrew Pauling

Dr Andrew Pauling is a climate modeller with a focus on Antarctic sea ice, the Southern Ocean and polar climate. His research employs state-of-the-art coupled climate models to examine the response of Antarctic sea ice and the Southern Ocean to past and future climate changes. His portfolio includes coupling an improved sea ice model to an existing coupled, high-resolution, atmosphere-ocean model of the Ross Sea region and running present-day and future change simulations with this coupled model.
